There is this one place near my house that never stays the same. One day, it's selling Western food. A few months later, it's suddenly a Chinese food restaurant. Now, it's selling coffee and drinks. Granted, the owners could have changed and I wouldn't be able to tell. If we assume the owner is the same person, do you think it's a good idea to keep changing and follow the trend despite the loss?

Should we follow the trend?

If the owner wanted to gamble further, they could've included all of those in one restaurant or turned the place into some kind of food court. At least, they didn't need to completely change the building or the staff members. However, changing so often can be a sign that they are not sure of their own goal.- Quote

Alyssa's idea sounds like a good answer to my question earlier. If we know what we are doing, food trucks and small food stalls are not exactly bad investments. I imagine it will be easier to change the details based on the current trend if we want to. Maybe the loss will not be devastating either if the worst situation happens. Sometimes going small but steady may be the better choice.- Quote

That sounds like a recipe for disaster, no pun intended LOL. Switching cuisines is definitely a mistake in my opinion. Instead of changing the whole theme of the restaurant, maybe it would be better if they have one single menu that offers a variety of different foods?- Quote
